Thomas Field Blend Rosé 2024

Our Field Blend Rosé is a blend of two varietals found on our vineyards on Waiheke Island, Syrah and Merlot. The fruit was hand harvested and gently whole bunch pressed to extract only a small amount of colour. The juice is then cold settled, racked and fermented in stainless steel at cool temperature to retain freshness and produce a style of Rosé inspired by those from the south of France. 

Winemakers tasting notes: Our Rosé is a Provence style Rosé, light orange in colour, bone dry and gives aromas of white peach, yellow nectarine and citrus blossom. Notes of pink peppercorn, white strawberry, tart green apple and clementine zest on the palate, with crisp, fresh, mineral attributes. Best shared among friends around a barbeque, in late afternoon sun.
